Self Improving, Laziness, Organisation, School

Hi friend! I hope you are doing well. I haven't been on here in a while, I honestly kinda forgot this existed lol.

Recently I've been unmotivated and lazy and disorganized, etc.

Also recently I've gotten so many new responsibilities. Which is awesome! As you all know, responsibility is something I think everyone needs to be successful in life!

BUT I can't fulfill all of my responsibilities if I'm unmotivated and lazy and disorganized. So let's change that.

STEP 1- Let Go Of Excess

Whether it be clothing or clutter or stress or trash or anxiety or negative thoughts. If it's making you overflow, GET RID OF IT!

Clean room = Clean mind

I want my space to reflect my inner feelings. If I feel messy, my room will be messy. If I feel organized and ready, my room will be organized and ready.

STEP 2- Refill

When using the "excess mindset", we remove a lot from our lives. BUT if we don't "refill", it will simply refill with all of the same stuff we just removed.

Refill with the new things. New feelings. New thoughts. New friends. New clothes. New emotions. New tactics. New books. New budgets.

Refill with good before you refill with bad.

STEP 3- Continue

Once we have refilled our cup with good things, we have to make them last. Make sure that we are consistent with our methods and our cups don't overflow again. Stay mindful and recognize your spirals. You are in control of your thoughts. You don't have to be stressed if you don't want to be. You are in control of your money. You don't have to buy that shirt if you don't need to. You are in control of your habits. You don't have to press snooze 10 times if you don't want to. You are in control of your emotions. You don't have to scream and yell if you don't want to. You are in control of your health. You don't have to eat junk food and lay around all day. Take control!

STEP 4- The Long Haul

After 66 days, a habit is a habit. You will do it until you try to break it. So make a habit, keep a habit, and keep keeping that habit. Every day, make that habit a more stable part of your routine. Align your actions to your goals.

STEP 5- Grace

Occasionally, you will mess up. One day, you won't make your bed. But always choose grace over guilt. Give yourself grace. Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn. Try better tomorrow. Never let the same mistake happen twice. Strength isn't about not failing, it's about what you do when you fail.

I love you all so much!

Discipline over motivation,

Izzy <3
