Responsibility And Other Scary Things

**Disclaimer- I am a Christian and I understand that many of my readers are too. This article is not meant as "Taking My Life Back from God" or anything like that. This is simply a way to be more productive by making conscious choices ON YOUR OWN and as long as those choices don't interfere with what the Bible says, there is no problem in my opinion**

Hey, cool kiddos! It's me again, sadly. I have come to you again.

I am writing this because I think that many people can relate to what I am going to say.

Recently, I have been trying to find what works. Like what gets me to get the most work done, or what makes me the happiest. A bit of self-reflection, you could say.

I have a VERY big tendency to trust others with everything. I don't like having the stress of managing my own life. My mom makes dinner. My dad does everything for my hobby (climbing).

BUT I think it is high time that I started taking responsibility for my life. You control SO many things about yourself. How you feel, how you act, how you respond to things, what you eat, what you watch, what you allow to influence you. A LOT. Sometimes, we don't take these things into consideration. We are naturally lazy people and we DO NOT want more stress than needed.

I am taking control of my life. I am taking back all of the choices. I have finally decided to be responsible and not be scared of changing and growing up. I am educating myself on how to best manage my life.

I decided that it would be helpful if someone could read this and apply it directly to their life. So I did my best to present a perfect plan for taking back your life.

The Steps

1. Journal/Self-reflect - this means that you sit down and write a few goals that you have been trying to achieve but haven't had the diligence or time to. These goals could be anything: learning a language, or going vegan, or maybe you want to cook 5 meals every week. Any goal is a goal!

2. Talk to People about this change- what I mean by this is simple, maybe you have a goal to have a productive morning but your mom doesn't want you going around the house early in the morning. You could talk to your mom about this new goal you have and come up with a compromise.

3. Write Down Your Execution Plan - this purely means to write down a few easy steps to making your goal achievable and fun. Systems always work better than pure goals.

4. Start Your Plan Slowly- I would recommend taking this part VERY slowly. Let's say that I wanted to learn French (which I am doing heh) and the day after you complete step 3, you do 5 hours of language learning! Wowzers. You would give up really quickly. The mind hates hard work and if you overwhelm it with hard work too soon, it rejects the practice altogether. So please start your Execution plan SLOWLY.

5. Master That Goal - Mastering a habit/goal takes 66 days. In 66 days you can be where you want to be.

This is a simple system to take back your goals. Maybe your goal is to take back your life. I hope this helps! Message me if you have any questions

I loved writing this and I hope you benefited!

mucho love,
